NEW YORK, N.Y. - Construction work at the World Trade Center was partly shut down Thursday after a crane dropped metal beams 40 stories, damaging a flatbed truck.
The Tishman construction company says no one was hurt.
Tishman says a cable on the crane snapped.
Construction worker Frank Pensabene said, "Everybody was yelling and running."
Tishman says it is investigating along with the Port Authority, which owns the site.
The accident occurred inside the construction zone at Four World Trade Center.
